Law Students! Apply for the Walpin Fellowship

CIR is accepting applications for our Gerald Walpin Fellowship summer program. The program provides an opportunity for law students to gain first-hand experience in cutting-edge public interest litigation. Fellows will receive practical training that will be useful in any career in litigation all while directly contributing to CIR’s cases under the guidance of CIR litigators.

The fellowship is a paid opportunity offering $8,000 for the 10-week program. The program is open to students who have completed at least the first year of law school. It generally runs from the first week in June through early August, and it will be held in-person in CIR’s Washington, DC offices.

To apply, send a letter of interest, your c.v., and a short writing sample to Michael Rosman at rosman@cir-usa.org. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2024.
