This Sachem Quality of Life Organization PETITION statement and my signature attests to my support for this organization and my belief that it represents the community of Farmingville.

The views Sachem Quality of Life maintain in support of demanding that the laws of our land are to be obeyed are also my own. I do NOT wish a hiring hall/site or "Development Center" to be built for ILLEGAL Aliens in Farmingville or anywhere in Suffolk County for that matter.

This government was originally conceived as a republic, and as such, as long as I uphold the law and demand that it be enforced my voice is worth more than the voices of thousands of those who demand the law be violated for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many.

I will NEVER approve of a hiring site or whatever euphemism it may be called by as it will encourage ILLEGAL immigration and facilitate the burgeoning lawless and unregulated underground economy in Suffolk County.

As has been shown in other parts of the country as well as on Long Island, these sites don't work because:

They act as a magnet. The illegal immigrant population will grow.  Because of competition, the men will overflow back into the streets.  Contractors do not want to be where they can be recorded for income and tax purposes.

I will NOT be a party to the violation of federal, state and local law on such a massive scale as proposed by other groups.
